ABBY EPSTEIN has been producing and directing documentaries for over ten years with her partner, Ricki Lake.  Their first collaboration was the celebrated feature documentary The Business of Being Born, which premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.  The Business of Being Born enjoyed a successful theatrical release and had its broadcast premiere on Showtime.  The award winning doc inspired their book Your Best Birth, (Hachette) and the follow-up docuseries More Business of Being Born featuring Cindy Crawford, Alanis Morissette, Gisele Bundchen and Christy Turlington. Abby made her directing debut at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival with the documentary, Until the Violence Stops, featuring Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek and Rosie Perez. The film premiered on Lifetime Television where it received a Primetime Emmy Award and a Gracie Allen Award.
Under their joint venture BOBB Films, Abby and Ricki produced the documentaries
Breastmilk and The Mama Sherpas. BOBB Films is currently in production on two feature docs: Weed the People and Sweetening the Pill.  In addition to her work as an independent filmmaker, Abby has produced pilots, promos and online videos for many companies including  Universal Films, Original Productions, Freemantle Media, Fusion and Discovery Health.

Moorea is an expert in gentle sleep learning, gentle (and early) potty learning, and gentle discipline and  the author of online learning programs, books and articles.  She leads sold-out workshops and provides private phone consults for naturally-minded parents of kiddos newborn-4 years.

Dr. Stuart Fischbein, MD OB/GYN has been in private practice of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Southern California since 1986.  He has a long history of support for Midwives and the alternative to the medical model of birth they provide. This interest began during his Cedars-Sinai residency where he had extensive training in vaginal breech and twin delivery and was selected as administrative chief resident and awarded house officer of the year. His experience was enhanced while rotating through LA County-USC Medical Center, at that time the busiest obstetric unit in the country, where he had the good fortune to be exposed to the midwifery model of obstetrical care.
Dr. Fischbein has made it his goal to teach, speak and write about the normalcy of birth choices, the ethics of respecting a woman's autonomy in decision making and reasonable, evidence supported options of selected VBAC, breech and twin vaginal birth. Jamie Lynne Grumet is most known for her Time Cover feature and is the CEO and founder of I Am Not the Babysitter LLC, co-founder and President of Raise It Up Foundation (an organization dedicated to raising the level of global nutrition), and a well-recognized advocate for children’s health issues. Jamie has written for HLN, Kindred, MomsLA, The Adoption Magazine, Blogher, and Pathways to Family Wellness.

Jamie has been featured on the cover of Time, Pathways to Family Wellness, and The Attached Family, and has been interviewed and featured in PDN, TODAY online, Yahoo, and The Huffington Post. Stacy holds two degrees in Kinesiology (MA & BA) from California State University, Long Beach.  She currently lectures at CSULB on  topics regarding fitness in special populations.

With her rapidly growing family, reaching as many as 3 million people, from speaking at the CA State Capitol Building during the legislative conference to being featured on major websites, such as Elle, NewsOne, Free The Nipple, KellyMom, MomsRising, Breastfeeding Mama Talk and being the face of 3x Grammy Nominated singer/song-writer Raheem DeVaughn’s single “Queen”, she continues to express gratitude and appreciation for support and kindness towards one another.

Sears, MD, is a father of three, board-certified in pediatrics, and a co-author in the Sears Parenting Library. “Dr. Bob,” as he likes to be called by his little patients, earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1995. Dr. Bob enjoys a very unique approach to pediatrics by providing a combination of alternative and traditional medical care. He has a particular passion for helping parents understand childhood vaccines and the options open to them in choosing the safest possible vaccine schedule for their child. As the solo author of The Vaccine Book: Making the Right Decision for Your Child, his in-depth knowledge of vaccines and the diseases they prevent has helped parents nationwide get a better understanding of this complex and confusing issue.

Angela J. Brown is the author of "Elevating Thought, Affirmations for Pregnancy and Birth" and founder of DoulaLove’sCreation in Orange County. She is a licensed Registered Nurse, Certified Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, Pregnancy Life Coach, Certified Massage Therapist (Prenatal Massage), Kundalini Yoga Instructor and Speaker. She has been a Birth Doula since 2003 and has been a holistic practitioner for over 20 years.

Angela loves being a birth doula, teacher and empowering women about their bodies, pregnancy and childbirth by assisting them in transforming their old perceptions and belief patterns about birth. She is an advocate of natural births, yet at the same time, she is fully aware that each woman births at her own level of conscious awareness. Angela nurtures and builds trusting relationships with each client so that the client feels safe to tap into her own inner power so that she has her highest and best childbirth experience.
